The Minute with Matt - Policy Edition theme for February has been openness and communication. Last week, we presented the idea of a text messaging platform to keep Allentonians informed of happenings in the city and disruptions to regularly scheduled services.

In this week's video, Matt talks about implementing regularly scheduled Mayor's Walks. In a Mayor's Walk, the mayor assembled members of various city departments to walk neighborhoods with residents to see the good of those areas, and what can use improvement. These walks will occur weekly, be scheduled well in advance, and will be coordinated with neighborhood groups to get the maximum number of residents out and about.

Matt will be the most approachable and accessible Mayor in the history of Allentown. He's committed to meeting you where you live and seeing your community from your perspective.
